Dr. Breaux became Director of Graduate Studies in 2023. She also teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of South Carolina Upstate in health informatics. She earned her Master of Business Administration at Winthrop University and her Ph.D. in health services policy management at the University of South Carolina. Her research interests include health informatics, patient outcomes, quality improvement and health disparities. She has also taught courses at our partner university in Landshut, Germany. Dr. Breaux has received funding for undergraduate/graduate research assistants and a Magellan Scholar who have presented at multiple conferences. In 2015, she was a finalist for the Excellence in Teaching and Advising Award. She is an active member in the American Public Health Association and the Southern Management Association.
